Stephen King, you are the master. A massive book, but I was not intimidated. You pulled me in from the very first sentences. The whole concept and implications of The Dome were fascinating. The ending of the book left me absolutely compelled to take stock of my life and think of the bigger picture. We are here for a short time and we are not alone in this universe. And yes, I am your biggest fan Thank you for having such a positive impact on this little life of mine.

Got this book from my daughter for Christmas. Have been reading it on my lunch hour at work and just got to the aftermath of the "explosion". I am so close to the end, but find myself reading slower because I hate for it to be over! Just like all Stephen King books. I have really enjoyed this one and can definitely see it being made into a movie.
    Keep them coming Stephen!
    Love ya!

I've said it before, and I'll probably say it eleventy-hundred times more-you'll have to wrassle all of us for the title of "Number One Fan"! C'mon, C'mon-put em up, put em up-lets throw down even...and before I pummel you into literary submission-I welcome you to our little slice of da pie-this is a wonderful place, is the MB-seriously glad you're here. Now, shall we dance?

I just finished the book myself. It was a great read and the reason why I found these message boards. It's been ten years since I last read mr. Kings novels and I felt that Under the Dome was on par with the books I liked then. Now I guess I have to catch up with the works I have missed.

Oh, and got to love Big Jim. Such a delightfully unpleasant character that I would have read the book just for the pleasure of seeing him get his!

I have to agree this is one of the best long books that kept my attention from cover to cover. You dont have a stall out anywhere in the book. He makes you part of the town like you really live there. I cant wait till UR is out here so that I can get into that. It seems the older you are the better your books get. I hope you never stop writing.
