At the end when Susannah goes through the door of the Artist. Jake and Eddie are now brothers in this world. I am wondering if Cuthbert and Alain are there also. and if all who die for Roland and his search end up here? What is the signifigance of them being brothers now ?

First off, welcome E-man! Within the SK universe (at the center of which is that big old lynch-pin known as the Dark Tower), all eventualities are possible. The world in which Eddie and Jake are now brothers is just one of many alternate realities co-existing alongside "Earth Prime" if you will.(There other worlds than these...)Any of the scenarios you mention are potentially true and doesn't it make for a great game of "What if?"

It's a sweet thought, but it's a little too and-they-lived-happily-ever-after for my tastes. To me personally, Eddie and Jake being brothers in the other world just reflects the group dynamics of their Ka-tet. Roland was a fatherly figure to Jake, where as Eddie was more of a cool older brother or young uncle. Plus neither had good families in their home worlds. Eddie's brother was an abusive junkie, and Jake's parents were neglectful.
