    Default Any ideas??

Hey guys and gals, hope y'all doing great.
As many of you are aware--since I never shut up--I will be in the USA for 12 weeks as of May.
My friend and I have a few "must see" places on our list...as well as some amazing people from here to meet. You know who you are! I was wondering if any of the fine folk here have suggestions for where they think would be great to visit, and why? We enjoy history and culture, as well as fun fun fun and would like to fit in some rest and relaxation along the way. All ideas will be muchly appreciated. Thankya kindly...that's all folks!

Well, I`ll let the Americanos from the board answer this one, but when I went to the States, just to travel around a bit a few years ago, my first destination was - Woodstock.
I just wanted to stand on that field where the World lived in peace, harmony and love, combined with the best music ever for three days.

I visted vegas, washington, a lot of places, whatever...but I personally felt best right there on that field.

I'll suggest Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Meets all the criteria you've set. You're minutes away from history and culture and can find fun around several corners - notably Fell's Point. I've visited many times and had a great time each trip. Click for more:

Hope you have a great time!

    Historical stuff: Washington, D.C.
    In-your-face-obnoxious-spectacle-America: Las Vegas
New York City - just because it's New York City!
Also, if you have the time, do the drive on Pacific Coast Highway 1 between San Franciso and LA! (Continue on to San Diego or Tijuana if you're feeling adventurous!) A wonderful, life-changing drive.

Many on the Mb know us folks who live along the gulf coast have a tendency to worry about the constantly changing weather during June through Nov. So may I suggest you plan visits in those areas in May. St. Augustine on the east coast of Fl is filled with culture and history. Don't forget about New York City- a Broadway play, shopping, Statue of Liberty and many other sites. Just have fun!!
