Just finished the Dark Tower series and only had a couple of questions.
Why could Patrick erase the tumor from Susannah's lip but could not draw her new some legs before leavinig? Other than that it was a great book.

Steve's editor suggested that as well but Steve thought it was not a good idea--perhaps a little too "happily ever after" for him.
I agree with Steve on that one.
I was thinking the same thing, I was also thinking that Patrick could draw a couple of fingers for Roland. I think if it was me I would have had him draw a couple of lower legs for sure, but she just knew she had to get through the door.
Patrick could only re/draw instances that happened in a 'Here and Now' that he was in when he was in it. He couldn't redo what happened in another iteration unless he was also there.
I probably need to read #7 again, but I'm not in the mood yet.

And also draw himself a tongue...
I agree with bryan. pluss i belive that in the end with the (fading memory) she would wonder about that though cause the prior life leading up to that moment of the drawing she would still remember as that was what leed her up to meeting eddy and jake.
then agin i understand Kings point to.
Plus, Susannah wouldn't BE the woman we grew to know and love if she had been "made whole again"...it's what made her, her...(after that whole messy Detta melding a'course)...![]()
