FYI:
Blu-ray's maximum resolution is 1,920x1,080 (1080p), while DVD is limited to 720x480 (480p).
35mm film holds roughly 4 times the maximum resolution of a Blu-ray.
So if a film is remastered for Blu-Ray from the source material ie the 35mm film strip itself, there will be a noticeable leap in quality.
Sometimes Blu-rays are remastered from a source originally created for DVDs which will not give nearly the same results. The image will be better but never as good as when a Blu-ray is mastered from the original film stock.
From this review it looks like the Blu-Ray was a port of 25th Anniversary DVD and not a new remaster. Image quality still gets good marks - http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/cujo25bluray.php
