    Default Different titles in french

Hello!! I just wanted to say that I am currently re-reading Needful Things, and I wanted to share some little facts with you.

First the french version of the title is Bazaar and not LES CHOSES DONT ON A BESOIN, which would be the real french translation of the title . In the book, the store is named Bazaar de rêve, which would translate in Dream Bazar in english.

I understand that Monsieur Gaunt has many dream objects to offer, but they all end into nightmares as far as I'm concerned.

I have noticed last night that on the back cover of my french translated copy of Needful Things ( Bazaar), they say that SK's real name is Richard Bachman. False info I guess, but it's really written there. Where did the french translator take such an information? Only God knows.

Christiane, the Richard Bachman nom-de-plume is a pseudonym that Mr. King used to author a number of books, so as not to oversaturate the market with the "King" brand. Titles like "Thinner", "Blaze", "The Running Man", "Rage", "Roadwork", "The Regulators" etc...

Very true. But this particular translator said that SK's real name is Richard Bachman .I'll give you the exact translated words in part here. It goes that way.

''Born in 1947, in Maine state USA, Stephen King who's real name is Richard Bachman, is considered in the whole world the master of horror litterature''

And they mention his work with titles and everything. Not that I mind, but I thought it was just weird.
