Lightbulb My Under The Dome is Seriously Mixed Up. Stephen is my book Unique?

ATTENTION my Under The Dome Hard cover has missing pages and is out of sinc....
I was eagerly reading my new story from my favorite author and then suddenly it went haywire. I get to In The Jug page 562 and the next page was 595. I decided to look closer and found that Pages 595 to626 which included the begining of Ashes was out of sinc then I looked further and found pages 595 to 621 were in there again so I had two lots of 595 and 621 follow ing after the other. Then the Ashes chapter page, and the book came back on track at page 625, which was then ok. I had ordered also the special Edition of Under The Dome from which I was able to read the missing chapters and pages. Just as well I had that to refer to. Now Stephen I am wondering if my book may be unique?

My eyes hurt! Please, try to use a standard font size and color. Your text is so awfully formatted that I couldn't force myself into reading it till the end.

That sounds like a bindery error. These are not rare, especially with the large print-runs of King's books, but there are a few collectors out there who dote on these. If I were in your place, I'd return it and get a proper copy. If you decide to sell it, I'd suggest using eBay--that way you get the largest audience.

Yes, I've heard this happens from time to time, and if you want to, you should return it as someone previously mentioned. It's a good thing you had the special collector's edition to read the missing pages!
    BTW, welcome to the board!

I got all the way to page 1010 before coming right back to page 979. So by what I'm reading I'm not alone (thankfully) nor is mine the most screwed up (thankfully again but I am sorry for all you other Constant Readers out there). Luckily I kept my receipt and am on my way to Barnes&Noble for a replacement. I hope that everything works out for each and everyone of you.

Just take it back to where you bought it from. Unless you LIKE the fact that it may be unique, and then, by all means, keep it and wait a while. Who knows, maybe it'l turn out to be a collector's item one of these days.

Ahh that explains something for me too! My UK hardback has around 950 pages but when I looked on reviews of the book it stated this was King's biggest book with over 1000 pages - I thought I had a nasty edited version! Yeah, maybe they will be collectors items, I'd keep it if I had one
