IT Graphic Novel

Hello everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone else thought IT would make for an epic graphic novel. I just finished the first 2 graphic novels to The Stand and they are amazing. I for one would love to see this tale brought to life by the wonderful team over at Marvel. If you've not read The Stand graphic novels yet do yourselves a favor and pick them up quick! They are very good. Mrs MOD are there any plans at the time to adapt IT into a graphic novel? I just can't ever see a movie doing IT justice. A graphic novel can fit so much more story into it then a movie and IMO can portray the events much better. Here's hoping though!

Well, with Dark Tower, The Stand, The Talisman, N and now American Vampire it would seem a good idea to do IT, perhaps after The Stand.

I am in full agreement on the graphic novel for "The Stand". They have been very faithful to the storyline thus far, and Mike Perkin's artwork is absolutely killer! Still as a collector-they need to slow things down a bit at Marvel-they are starting to overwhelm the market with titles. On another note, word has it they are going to do another 30 issue release of the DT, and more than likely will end up doing the entire series. Goodbye money, Hello entertainment!

I think they could pull it off. Graphic novels are always better, you can see what ppl are thinking and the like. Most movie adaptations of Kings books (in my opinion) are rubbish, they don't do the books justice.

Hopefully with the new IT remake coming out this will pave the way for the Graphic Novel.

I read about this on the Marvel site as well. They are just finishing up they're prequel to The Dark Tower series then IMO getting into the only part that matters. Don't get me wrong The Dark Tower prequel series is an amazing comic line but it wasn't written by King. I can't wait till they get into the actual Dark Tower series.

Dude no way that would be awesome. I have always thought they could make an amazing game out of the dark tower series. Like a massive sandbox game.....sweet
