Still searching high and low for the track that plays in the car during the 'conversation' where Chris tells Billy she hates Carrie White (through a mouthful I must add!'

Some have said it's called "Pretty Baby". Sounds very mid 70's soul/pop. I thought maybe The Drifters but alas, it isn't. Help please!!!!
