Anyone out there know anyone actually named Stephen King?

I wonder what it must be like for those people out there named Stephen King who aren't the famous Stephen King? I would think they get joked about it a lot. Can you imagine doing a job search and sending out a resume that says "Stephen King" at the top? I especially feel sorry for anyone named Stephen King who is trying to be a writer. I mean, how do you submit your work to a publishing house and have them know that's really your name? I guess they would have to use a pen name.

My sister used to be married to a guy whose last name was "Simpson" and she was always having to put up with jokes like "Is your husband Homer Simpson?" and "Are you married to OJ Simpson?", etc.

Kind of fun to look at. According to it, there are 1,362 people in the U.S. with the name "Stephen King".

I am much rarer at a mere 18 people with my name. "Ms Mod" came up as the only one! Congrats!

Actually, would be better to have more of me to get more exemptions come tax time. Had to recently change my filing status because as of this year, I have no children eligible to claim as dependents so also lose head of household status. Because of that had $90 less in my paycheck this week. I'm trying to tell myself I would lose more than that if they still lived at home but that would only make me feel better if I was the Bank of Mom less frequently.

Yeah, I still got 3 of them living with me. Everytime I look at our gross income I get mad. I should be driving a Porsche and living on the beach by now! Just think of all that love they have given you over the years!

We had a race car driver named Steven King here in town. He was killed during a race. I freaked out when it was in the newspaper because I didn't pay attention to the spelling. The hubby says TAKE A BREATH! READ THE STORY! Couldn't for the life of me figure out why Stephen King was out racing cars.
