Anyone Subscribed to Writer's Digest?

I was thinking about paying the 25 dollars for an eight issue subscription, but I know very little about WD content, other than what I see on their site. So for anyone who may have a subscription (or who has read an issue or two) is it worth it, meaning, do they contain useful information pertaining to the craft and business of writing?

I only have second hand information. Had given a subscription as a gift to a retired HS teacher who was starting to write his book. He said he found it very informative and helpful.

It's a good rag.

I get 'Poets and Writers' also.

If you don't have the 'Writer's Market' bookbible, get the subscription instead. Some good articles (hit or miss).

I recktumend it.
