    Default Book signing

I have a first edition of Carrie that I would not sell for anything in the world. I have had this book for well over 15 years and bought it at a yardsale for $1. I have always wanted to have this book signed, but have never had the opportunity to meet Stephen King and get it autographed. Someone mentioned to my father that I could mail the book to him and he would sign it and return it. I would hate to send my Carrie out and never see it again and I would hate to bother Stephen King if this is something he does not normaly do. Has anyone heard this or knows if it's true, if it is what is the address. Any information would be very much appreciated.

    Sincerely,
    Marian Fields

That is no longer true. Steve stopped doing that several years ago and, as noted in the FAQ, he only autographs at book signings these days. The past couple of times he's done signings, though, he has only signed the most recent book.

Hey Marian, sorry to hear you can't get it signed, but take comfort in knowing you have a first edition Carrie!!! A lot of us would give our first born for one! (well, okay, maybe not our firstborn, but you know what I mean!) Enjoy your book and be proud of the terrific find!!!
