Default 'The Universe' on the History Chqannel

    Hi,

I've just been watching the excellent series on the History Channel - 'The Universe' - much recommended, given me much to think about!

Truth is indeed stranger than fiction!

Keep your eye open for it at a TV near you.

I watch that all the time, well...whenever it's on here.

    Sometime's there's a 2-3 hour marathon.

History and NatGeo are my two main channels, but I'll watch a cheesy movie here and there.

    Hi,

That's exactly what I was watching, Bryan.

I came across something I'd never heard of before - there are things way up there called 'molecular clouds' floating about.

One of them is made of alcohol (really) and it's a thousand times the size of out solar system and contains enough alcohol to provide 300,000 pints of beer a day to everyone on our planet for a billion years!

    Well I never!

    John,

I'm actually just starting to make an IPA and I read that post. Kind of makes my little two cases of homebrew seem a little puny.....

Truth is definitely stranger than fiction. I particularly like the theory of particles winking in and out of existence......

They need to capture that ASAP and make it into Jameson's.
