If you've read the Dark Tower books (particularly Song of Susannah) you're aware of all the significance of the number 19, and how that number has a significance in Stephen King's life as well. I noticed a number of weird coincidences with my life, the number 19, and Stephen King's life. (NOTE: DT SPOILER BELOW)
By sheer coincidence, I finished reading the book Song of Susannah on exactly June 19th.
My wife's mother died the same day I finished reading the book, June 19th.
In real life, Stephen King is struck by a car on June 19th. In the book, the Stephen King character dies. My own mother died from being struck by a car in June 1991 (which is the number 19 followed by its mirror image 91).
Stephen King's father left his family when he was young. My dad left our family on June 19th when I was 19 years old. My dad died on May 19th last year.
Weird, huh? Some other weird coincidences with numbers...
Stephen King was born on September 21st, 1947.
I was born exactly 2 decades, 2 months and 2 days later.
My first daughter was born on Stephen King's birthday, September 21st. I was age 38 (2x19).
Stephen King's first book Carrie was released in 1974. My wife was born in 1974.
Stephen King lives in Bangor, Maine. My initials are B.M.! (okay, that's a stretch).
Freaky! Has anyone else noticed any weird coincidences between your life, Stephen King's, and the number 19?

, but I'm guessing it was from the DT series) and couldn't wait to get home and start reading. I was in a taxi, less than five minutes from my house when I saw a motorcycle coming straight at me - it was the sort of thing you think it can only happen in the movies, when you see every detail, you know what's going to happen but can't change it and everything seems sort of like in slow motion. In that second before he slammed into my side I turned away, shaking. Miraculously, the guy was ok, people helped him get on the side of the road and I went home and cried. That's when I realized I had paid for that book with more than money, I had paid with a fright.
