I like a lot of your choices especially for Pere Callahan, Steven Duchain and Jonas. But, I would cast Josh Brolin as Roland.

I like most of your choices, especially donald sutherland for eldred jonas, I pictured someone like him too. What do you think about William Sadler for Roland? His rugged face and bright blue eyes. I think William Sadler would be a perfect Roland.

Flagg: David Duchovny...he could play a really esoteric dark character like Flagg, IMHO.
