    Default Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

I thought I'd start a thread dedicated to the new season.

I'm so excited that Coach is back, because he's a trainwreck I can't stop watching. Randy (a.k.a. "the Douche", according to Tery) is still a negative loser and I can't wait till he's gone. I'm looking forward to seeing more Tyson.

What are your thoughts on James? Do you think his behavior was justified? I felt like he was telling people something they needed to hear, and even though he spoke harshly, I thought some of the other Heroes overreacted. Maybe some other things were edited out? Or maybe I'm just biased because I like him?

I liked James a lot in his earlier appearances but I think he was over the top last week and from the look of the previews will be again this week. Some of what he had to say was legitimate but I didn't like the way he said it sometimes and his parting shot to the evicted player was uncalled for.

    I'm rooting for Boston Rob.

Two of my favorites are already gone. Sugar and Stephanie. How cool was Sugar during that ridiculous "battle for the bag" challenge? I loved how she just let Sherie (?) tear off her bra; then she shot a double-bird. Priceless! She should've won her season IMO. And Steph was an awesome competitor; nice and fair, yet strong and tough. I don't really who I'm routing for yet. James is one of my favorites, and I like Rupert and Colby too.

    Yep, thanks for remembering, Susan!!

Randy IS a douche. So is Russell. I completely agree with Bev re; James. Dude, chillax or you are going to be gone, Daddy, gone.

I haven't chosen who I'm rooting for yet but I love Boston Rob and Rupert. So, I have a "go-to" on both teams!

I think they need a third category for Pompous weirdos. Coach would be the uncontested leader of that team. Yikes he is pompous!

Tom is my favorite but I like James too. He is talking so much this season and letting it all hang out- no filters on him. I think James is mad as hell and he's not gonna take it any more. And that doesn't make him a villian in my eyes. He's grown up a lot since the time he went home with 2 immunity idols in his pockets. I say GO JAMES!

Yes, Bev, I thought the parting shot was cheap, too.

Boston Rob completely won me over. When he rallied and went back to camp we were cheering. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's episode.

Perse - I liked Sugar's fiestiness, too. Something I don't like, however, are these hand-to-hand physical challenges. I think it's one thing to have a tug-of-war type situation, but another thing having them physically fight over something - people are bound to get hurt.

I liked Stephenie, too, but I wonder - if she's annoying St. Rupert, something must have been up.

SURVIVOR FANS HERE TOO???? It's like I found a place where my special brand of geekiness coems to roost!!

The subject at hand - I think we can sum up this season with two words: BIG EGOS. That is always mildly true of thsi show, but these people are masters. They also bring a fire and competitiveness to the game that is fun to watch. Picking a winner is almost impossible.

I think James is lettign it get to him this time. His incredulation at what he perceives to be the feeble nature of his campmates has been exhibited numerous times in the past during his interviews. If he keeps tha tup, he will be gone. If you have watched this show for any length of time, you know that making a lot of stink gets you voted off pretty quickly. I don't expect them to allow James to get to the inidvidual competitions. Coach seems to be much more subdued this time. Russell... well... I grew up in Oklahoma so it is always hard for me to say anything nice about Texas or Texans, but he is a hell of player!

It will be quite interesting to see how it shakes out.

I watched Survivor years ago but it kind of fell out of favor with me. I started watching it again when I saw Russell. I could not stand him and I would watch every week hoping that he would get voted out. So I guess I am doing the same with this newest season!
