On page 100 last paragraph of Under The Dome how could Julia Shumway have Claudettes bloodstained drivers licence in her pocket when her plane crashed on the outside of the dome? Am I missing something here?

My understanding was that the plane crashed into the Dome on the Chester's Mill side so it was inside the Dome.
