Wow, luckily the people in the funeral home were a lot more observant than the actual hospital staff.

Remind me why people go to medical school again?? I hope never to be a patient in THAT hospital.

It would seem real life really can be stranger than fiction.

Creepy.

Believe it or not, the same thing happened to my mom when she was a girl, I think was about 14.

She had some illness, I can`t remember anymore what it was, she was sick for a few weeks and finally passed out...or slipped into a coma, who knows.
The doc proclaimed her dead, and they put a white sheet over her, in her house. And left her alone in a room and went away weeping.

Today, my mom hysterically laughs when she thinks about that, she woke up after an hour or so and walked into a room full of mourning and crying people.
A good deal of them fainted when they saw her, some fled the room instantly.

But it was no laughing matter back then for her...

It used to be pretty common - a very similar thing happened to my grandfather - but of course better technology makes it fairly rare today. Still, shite happens. She's just lucky they caught her before the embalming began.

Wow Srbo, that is amazing! I probably would have had a heart attack myself and died on the spot.
Thing's like that scare me...especially if they make it to the mortuary.

Gasp! So they just rushed her body off to a funeral home??? And this happened on Monday? Sure makes one wonder how often this actually does happen and the attendant at the funeral home fails to notice breathing. It seems to me that some people must have short term memory loss after attending medical school. Jeepers Creepers!
