    Default Sandal wood grips anyone?

I finished the last of the series about a year, or two ago and have really enjoyed the adventure over the years.

I have always wondered what Sandal wood looks like so after a bit of searching here is what I have found.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

Roland's guns are closer to a .44 long, maybe a Desert Eagle. Ain't no shine left in the sandalwood's lacquer. They are worn down to the essence, striated vertically with bulging woodgrain.

    Soft and menacing. And thirsty.

The wood grips the hand as much as the opposite.

I think Rolands pistols shot a "Cowboy 45". As for the grips, I had never seen Sandal wood before.

I didn't even know Sandal-wood was real until about a month ago.
