    Default Recommendations?

Hi all. New here, and was hoping for a couple of recommendations for my next King book. Just started reading him last year. So far I've read:

Carrie, Salem's Lot, The Shining, The Stand (my favorite), Cujo, Pet Sematary, It, Misery, Needful Things, and I'm just finishing up Rose Madder. I started The Gunslinger but just couldn't get into it. Same with Gerald's Game.

I'm thinking about reading The Cell next. Or possibly Christine. I like zombie stories, so it seems like The Cell might be a good choice.

    Thanks in advance!

There's also "Home Delivery" in Nightmares & Dreamscapes for you zombie fans.

I love The Cell and all the stories in Nightmares and Dreamscapes! Whenever in doubt, I pick up a collection of short stories.

You've read two of the three best (the Stand and It), so I recommend you read the Talisman and complete the trifecta.

I loved "The Cell" very good one. I would also like to recommend UTD since your fave is "The Stand" since it was my fave before UTD.

Close to the top of the Forum page is a catagory named Written Works click on Novels (since that seems to be your current reading mode) and you will see all of our gracious host's wonderful titles plus comments made by many of his ardent fans.

You didn't mention Dolores Claiborne. Great story!

I envy you your new discoveries.

I notice you haven't listed any compilation titles. If you're looking for something with a low commitment, let me suggest "Night Shift" and "Different Seasons". These books will show you the wonderful range of writing styles and imagination that Stephen King can produce.
