Going Todash!

[One Man Ka-Tet]

Hello all,

I am new to the DT series and have to say....BEST READ EVER!!! I just have a quick question about going todash. Does one have to be asleep or can one be awake when drawn into going todash? Roland and the rest of his ka-tet are all sleeping when it happens, but father Callahan seems to have gone todash while awake. A simple technicality really but I am curious nonetheless. Since starting the series in mid-December I have gone non-stop and am finishing up Wolves tonight. I have read a lot in my time and have to say that the DT series is hands down the best ever! No you do not have to be asleep to go Todash, but that is when you are most vulnerable to go Todash.
