Default Sometimes the Good Guys Win

This story is sad in the sense that it shows how ignorant and cruel people can be, heartless and frustrated folks with crosses to burn. It's also disturbing that it still walks behind the corn. OK that was a bit melodramatic but you know what I mean.
What was up lifting to me was how it shows that we can rise above bullies with both strength and mercy. It made me feel proud of the human spirit when it takes the high ground.

Sometimes it takes a strong spirit and unbreakable tenacity to get the message across. I remember as a little girl in the fifties not being able to understand why everyone couldn't drink out of the same fountain and the good manners that were taught to you didn't extend to everyone. I simply didn't "get it" when the subject of racial prejudice arose. I still don't, for that matter.

The Good Guys always win, and Obi-Wan shot first, but the camera was broken.

I agree with you. Like you I was very young when I saw all these horrible images of police, police lines, dogs, firehoses and so forth. I heard the announcer saying thing about these people being attacked and supposedly why. What I didn't understand and what I didn't SEE was that people on one side were one color and people on the other side were another color. I did not see the color.

Yes you do seem to think quite a lot of things, nice to be able to do so in a free country where liberty is sometimes hard for some of us to achieve.

Another shot? So... you don't live in the good ole USA? Why are you struggling with liberty?

    Sensitive much?

I love my country and want to protect it from people who don't believe in liberty for all of her law abiding citizens, and yes I live in the USA and yes I was born here and yes I do have a birth certificate.
Any other questions about my loyalty and intentions?

Thanks PA, that brightened my morning. And I did a little fist pump at "One Klansman cursed a Lumbee who was blocking the road. The Lumbee punched him through the open car window."

So... why are you struggling with achieving liberty? That is all I was asking. Don't know where the "loyalty and intentions" comment came from????????
