    Default Mr. Bob Grey cameo

I am sure I saw our dear friend Pennywise (The Dancing Clown) serving cocktails to the guests (ghosts) in the ballroom. This was near the end of the movie. Jack was chasing Danny in the maze as Wendy first discovers the dusty denizens of the Overlook. Anyone else witness this brief appearance, or am I merely imagining things? (Can't believe that after reading SK.)

which version? I wont watch the Kubrick one again.. I dont like most of his movies anyway and I didnt like his version of The Shining. I would think if Pennywise showed up it would be in Stephen's version as Kubrick 's really didnt follow Stephen's book that well. (and I dont think Pennywise showed up in the book either)

ah that explains why it was so close to the book. Thank you!

I would assume that you are talking about the Kubrick version because you were talking about the maze. Do you think Mr King had even thought up Pennywise when he wrote the shining or even by the time it was filmed.

If its in the cheesy remake then I wouldn't know as I refuse to watch it.

I see this isn't a topic of much debate, but and I know it's been a while but could you clarify exactly what that scene looked like, I'm planning on watching it this weekend but what I'm wondering is...

Is there just a clown in that scene, or is it a clown that looks like Pennywise (perhaps Stephen Kings description, or Tim Curry's performance?)

The Shining and the Kubrick movie had already come out before SK even started writing IT.
