    I'll second that!

I finished UTD about a week ago and i've been surprised by the amount of negative comments on here about it. I've purposely tried to find a positive thread about it in which to post my positive feedback.

It was a mental challenge to keep up with all those characters and keep track of how much time had passed but it was a challenge i enjoyed and i wasn't disappointed with the ending. Like most of Stephens books i wished it had gone on a bit longer but i wasn't disappointed with the ending at all.

The structure reminded me a little of Needful Things but had a feel of The Stand about it. I think my favourite carachters were Rusty and Barbie

I just finished it. I thought it was great! It had characters that you loved, and those you loved to hate; as well as a suspenseful plot........perfect

I didn't have a hard time keeping up with the characters, which surprises me because when I'm watching a movie with a lot of characters, I can never keep up with who's who. For some reason, these characters are so clearly visible in my mind it's almost like I know them personally. Weird, I know but I can't think of any other way to explain it. There have been a lot of negative comments, and I've noticed that quite a few of those people are newer members of the board, I'm guessing they're newer King fans wanting a place to go to vent their problems with the story. On that note, I want to thank Ms. Mod for always being on her toes. You rule our world (almost literally)!

I have only read a few chapters so far, but I thought Duke's death was terrifying when his pacemaker exploded!

I also want to say bravo to Mr. King for getting up the courage to go back and write it, as intense as it was to read it must have been incredible to write.

Just finished this morning. Loved. It. I didn't want it to end (for me), but I wanted it to end (for them).
When the cause of the Dome was revealed, a Twilight Zone episode came to mind: "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street".

    What's the next book?!
