I'd like to think that I am a forward thinking person -- looking ahead instead of looking back, but I think it might be time well-spent to take a few moments to think about the past year and think about the memorable events, categorizing them, putting them into perspective and ponder how they affected your life. If you have more than one significant event, feel free to list all.
For me, it was joining the gym, losing 16 lbs and keeping a nutritionally and physically fit lifestyle. I've struggled with depression all my life and I've always underestimated the power of physical activity until now. So for anyone feeling blue, go to the gym or go for a brisk walk, you will feel better. If you're happy already, get active anyway just because it's good for you. Honest.![]()

), even of it does take more time, and so far seems to be much more stressful, the bees to honey approach is my new motto, because I've grown.
