I haven't finished it yet but while I've been reading I mark an X next to a character who has died. I have found this to be really helpful because when I first started I couldn't keep track.

I'm about halfway through the novel and I love it so far. I find myself having to refer to the Wikipedia Under the Dome page because I keep forgetting who is who (minor characters that is).
I don't do that, nor would I consider doing that. I want to be able to pick up the book again once the plot is just a dusty old box in my memory warehouse (I'm so funny!) and be surprised all over again by things such as who dies and who survives.
RE-reading Under The Dome is a good idea..as there are so many characters.
The Dome kept reminding me of that Simpson Movie..where they had a dome on their town too.
@M-O-O-N that spells Nikki
I, too, sometimes think about The Simpsons Movie while reading Under the Dome, but I try my best to avoid thinking about it whenever possible.
Which reminds me, I have two questions (one off topic, the other kind of sort of off topic):
1. I remember reading at one point that Stephen King said he'd never seen The Simpsons Movie. Did he ever end up seeing the movie?
2. In the beginning with the smoke rising from the fires, it talks about the wind blowing the smoke. If they're in the dome, how is there wind? Perhaps I read it wrong or got my directions in the book mixed up; I'm not sure. Can anyone tell me or correct me if I'm wrong?
all the characters in "under the dome" and the plot are the same as in "the simpson movie". this must have been brought up here before?
I don't place X'x in my book, but I do sometimes use my finger to make X's at people I don't like....it really freaks them out.
Just kidding, I have actually never thought of doing that.
