the Stand TV movie????

I was really surprised when the powers that be decided to make the book in to a tv serial. I felt that the book deserved a more deserving blockbuster style movie. However I can understand now why it was done that way, there was just too much crucial information and character development that was so vital to the story, that a 3 hour movie would not have done the book justice. Interesting choices for the actors though.

The Tv movie.The oil refinery Needed a bigger bang.They cut out the journey to Boulder.That was what made it such a great story.the hardships everybody went through to make there.

Considering some of the lesser heralded King works that ended up getting turned into movies or television programs, it doesn't surprise me at all that someone decided to fund a made for tv adaptation of The Stand.
