    Default TheDarkTower.com 2010 Haven Foundation Fundraiser--3rd Annual

    Hello all.

TheDarkTower.com is about to launch its 3rd annual Haven Foundation Fundraiser. Over the last two years, we have raised almost 10,000.00 for Haven and plan to continue the love this year with a huge contribution. Our goal for the year is 7500.00.

I wanted to make sure the members of this board were aware of great collectible auctions and chances to win amazing prizes. Continue to check this thread for information on how you can get involved.

Steve was so generous to us last year and actually composed a message for the board thanking us, it was an amazing moment in our history. The fundraiser will begin on 1/1/10 and run until 5/19/09 which represents TheDarkTower.coms third anniversary. We do this using the notion that the greatest thanks we can offer SK is using our board to give back to a worth charity.

So here is auction #1--all the information is available to guests on our board, come check it out or PM me for more information. Join up if you like.

    Auction #1
    The Long Road Home Omnibus
    Flatsigned by Stephen King

This item was signed by Steve as a great favor to the site. We are using it to launch our fundraiser this year so I hope it draws a lot of interest.

I checked Ebay for an item like this and there was not one out there. I think most people would choose against bringing one of the omnibus' to a signing so it may be very rare.

    Bidding will start at: $100.00

    Bidding will begin: 1/1/10

    Hi,

I hate to be a serial pedant, Matt, and it's a wonderful prize, but I make it four now if you count the co-written Faithfiul (which post dates this prize anyway).

That is Danse Macabre, On Writing, Secret Windows and Faithful.

Good luck with the draw etc, Matt, I think it's a superb effort you and yours put in annually.

    Long days and pleasant nights
