Can anyone recommend somewhere to move to in Maine?

I have plans to move to Maine in the coming year or two and I'm having trouble deciding where exactly. I have been looking at Penobscot County and Aroostook County so if anyone has a recommendation in those counties i'd appreciate it--

So far I'm leaning towards either Millinocket or Mount Chase, both in Penobscot but like i say, I'm not sure. Anyone know about these places? Anyone living in Maine who can tell me whats its like? Any information will be greatly recieved because theres just too much to choose from!!

Unless you're financially independent, the first thing you should check out is getting a job because the employment situation here is not good and that area has been hit hard the past few years. And you'd better like long (Oct-May), cold, snowy winters.

i grew up in the Brunswick area, so im partial to there
