I quit smoking last year (it only took like 5 years to finally quit). I liked this story because only a smoker can appreciate this. Did you look at SK's Blood and Smoke? It has a story that is similiar (in the quitting smoking theme).

My favorite part was when James Woods screamed "Where's my wife, you turd!" I cracked up so hard. James Woods is funny when he's angry.

i definetly prefered the short story to the film, James Woods was great emotionally. the main issue i had with the film segment is the men running Quitters Inc. being a mafia style boss seemed over the top compared to the story where the guy is colder and more certain of what they're doing and that weird sequence when he's seeing cigarettes everywhere, although ive never smoked i found it to OTT . Though I'm glad they kept the bit with the pinkie in, though the way they did it could have been like the story where he only finds out through a handshake.

A segment of that movie made me laugh a lot. The part when James Woods is wondering around in his house looking for a cigarette, he sees himself in a mirror and almost freaks out. That was so funny. His interpretation of the character completly stunned me. The scene on the road is funny too. In facts, I think the best part of Cat's eyes is Quitters. Maybe it's due to the fact that I'm a James Woods fan, but frankly this segment is so well done.

I enjoyed this story and movie alot, the character James Woods plays is a trip . I first saw this movie before I started smoking, so I didn't realise how much of a problem smoking was . I took me many years to finally quit, I did it just two yrs. ago as a matter of fact and I still have all my fingers .

I do like James Wood. His part just had me laughing. I enjoyed Cats Eye. But also enjoyed the short story.
