Empire of dirt poem??

Hello, I was wondering which book the full poem was in with the line "empire of
dirt"

It's a quote from a Nine Inch Nails song called "Hurt," to be found on their album "The Downward Spiral." It was used as an epigraph to one of the DT books, as far as I can remember, credited to Trent Reznor - who is Nine Inch Nails' sole member.
