Could I have a spoiler to see if I want to buy first edition hardcover? I can always wait for paperback because I'm behind about 4 King novels already.

There are many other threads for you to check out if you want to read about the plot including spoilers. The book is already into second (possibly third) printings so you'll have to hunt to make sure you are getting a first edition.
