Default Early Xmas present (thankee big-big DTKT!)

    Hi,

I just received a package in the mail and I'd like to thank my very good friend, Denise (DTKT) publicly.

It's a signed copy of UtD and the program from the Portsmouth event, and Denise's daughter, Nathalie, kindly stood in the line to get it for me.

And Denise took great trouble to wrap it safely, which is just as well because the outer package got soaked at some point but the wet failed to penetrate the inner plastic wrapping.

Woo Hoo!!!! Doin' the Happy Dance again!

Thankee big-big, Denise, it's the best present I could have wished for.

    Long days and pleasant nights

People from this board are really one of a kind...not enough words to describe it.
I tried, a few weeks back when you had some PC trouble, John, so you might have not read it, and in that thread is everything I can say about these wonderful people.

Glad you are doin` the happy dance again, you deserve it, brother.

    Once again, the SKMB rocks.

    Wow!!!
Am I envious...yo dambetcha! Maybe the old elf will find his way to me with something that wonderful, but if my usual luck holds-it'll more likely be a copy of the "Tet Times" that a billy-bumbler used as a toilet. Oh well, from the US to the Scottish sod-Happy Holiday and Thankee-Sai for the news...

    Hi,

And that means that I've Joe Hills signature on a copy of Locke and Key, Owen King's on a copy of his excellent collection 'We're All In This Together' and now Sai King's on UtD, all courtesy of Denise, what a friend!

Happy Dance! Thankee big-big again, Denise!

Now all I need is Tabby for a full set LOL

    Long days and pleasant nights

Unless you want to go to extended family and have Kelly Braffet's (Owen's wife).

    Hi,

Funny you should say that, Ms Mod, I've got a copy of the anthology 'Who Can Save Us Now?' edited by Owen King and John McNally (also coutesy of Denise), and I very much enjoyed her story 'Bad Karma Girl Wins at Bingo' in it.

Congrats John, I know you must be touching the sky with that gift! (this time it isn't the pot effect, lol!). And Denise, you rock! There're so few friends in the world like you.
