i loved this book. it was such a great explanation of how such scenarios have managed to happen so many times throughout history all over the world, and how it could always happen again, and quickly too. it also struck a chord with me, as i regularly feel that most of our world leaders think they have no one to answer to outside of earth so they can do whatever they want, and we only have so much of a say in it - and most of us concede to let it happen because it's so much bigger than us, they're the ones with the supplies and artillery and influence, so what CAN we do short of raging a worldwide ironic riot in the name of peace?
when i first finished it i had so much i wanted to post on here, but it was a weekened and then i was busy and now it's been weeks and i've forgotten it all! but definitely i thought this book was fantastic. never a dull moment. it was mostly very realistic, too, which added to how scary it was.
