I wonder if he "Stephen" has ever printed his own phone number, saying it was a characters in the book to see if anyone calls it. I would . Then again I do things most people wouldn't think of

No, he hasn't done that and after putting in some real phone numbers that had unintended consequences (who would have thought that people would actually call the Orono Maine State Police Barracks to find out if it was a real number?! ), he no longer puts in the real ones.
