    Lightbulb 1969 Charger and TV Censorship

    In the film, I go gooey over the blue 1969 Charger owned by Arnie's best friend.

    The perfect combination would be the attitude of Christine inside that Charger. Or better yet, a 68 or 69 Roadrunner.

    As far as the film goes, I liked it because Carpenter is good with the music and sound effects.

    Christine was on broadcast television recently and it was kinda funny that they edit out so much or the dialogue.

    The scene where Darnell approaches Arnie to work for him edits out;

    1. ...You know, put the toliet paper back on the little spool, **** like that...
    2. ...Well don't think about it too long, I'll throw you out on your ****in ass!

    Instead, after Arnie says 'Well, you know, I'll think about it'...
    Darnell just makes a snorting noise and walks away.

    Of course there is no mention of the word 'Shitters'.

    What a gyp.
    I hate that about being stuck watching movies on regular TV...Then again it's funny someone out there had to carefully edit out '...Put the toliet paper back on the little spool...'

    Hey, I hate to break this to you, but Dennis' Charger in the movie was a 68.

    The cars in the movie were great. I love Buddy Repperton's Camaro. ::::sigh:::: Too bad it gets all blown up!

    The thing about this movie is that although it's a bit cheesy, it's still really good. The guy that played Darnell was awesome.

    Hey All,

    There's nothing like muscle cars in a good horror movie. I agree with user Lame, I hate watching censored movies. I believe it is just moronic to censor movies, music,etc.. If people R that offended turn it off, in Europe do they censor, no; what ever happened to freedom in this country?
