    Default Earworm phrases..Fornit Some Fornus

How about a phrase that won't stop?

Just finished "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet" short story by SK in Peter Straub's "Poe's Children" the other day. The phrase 'Fornit Some Fornus' will not leave my head. Am I going mad like the writer's in the story?

It's been over a year, and I still have the original "Five...Five Dollar...Five Dollar Foot Long" theme in my head. From an ex-musician's ear, that was a very spooky jingle.

I've been to Subway once since the first commercial came out.

That wasn't the response you were looking for. (Related, though).

After I read the DT series I kept finding myself saying "Hile!" any time I meant to say hello for about a week.

Whenever I read the DT series, I have to practically bite my tongue to stop myself from saying "Thankee-Sai".

    Stand and be true.
And it comes to mind every single time I am put to a challenge, somebody else is put to challenge, random situations, when people are snivelling and so on.
I think I'm going to finally give up and add it to the DT lower back tat I'm in the process of designing.

Oh, I had the 'Fornit Some Fornus' problem for a while, blaming fornits for stuff, to the point where I thought 'Hold on. This can't be a good thing.'
I've also been tempted to use 'Thankee, Sai'...in shops, of all places. I haven't done that, but I did say 'Say true, say thankya' in conversation with a mate not so long back. Luckily(?), people see me as a bit weird anyway (no idea why; I'm just as sane as the next lunatic), so it just added to the mythos.

I have used "Done bun can't be undone", many times since I first read Insomnia back in '95. And yeah, I say "You say true, I say thankya" alot too...
