POTUS And The Boss!

As some of you around here might know, I am a massive Bruce Springsteen fan, and have been for around 30 years. So it gave me great pleasure to check this morning's news and learn that Bruce has been awarded a Kennedy Center Honor by none other than Barack Obama himself, who introduced the singer with the immortal line "I'm the President, but he's the Boss."

It's just too bad that this ceremony didn't take place a week earlier. Perhaps President Obama could have received some valuable advice from Springsteen on the folly of massively increasing US troop numbers in Afghanistan.

It's gonna be a long walk home.

The Boss is one of the rare singers that I would gladly listen to if he was to talk about Politics.

On the other hand, Bono Vox wont shut up, even though he has nothing valuable to say, IMO.

Great line, indeed. ("I'm the President, but he's the Boss.")
