When I got Under the Dome, I thought oh no another book in which it takes 10 pages to describe someone walking into a room. I thought that I would be doing a lot of skimming but that was not the case. From the start, this book grabbed me and did not let go. I personally think that this is one of the best books hMr. King has written in quite a while. I am a big fan and have read all of the books that he has published. I have duplicate copies of most of the books that Mr. King has written (1 to loan and 1 that only I read). My all time favorite book is not Under the Dome but Insomnia. I read this book when it was first published and to this day I cannot scratch without wondering how big, hairy and ugly the bug was that I just squashed.

I have to agree - I've had it on audio for several weeks, And I decided that Friday night was my night to start - I spent the weekend with my ipod plugged into my ear.
