Why the hell (does this counts as cursing?) did Alice need to die??!
She was the funniest of the party, why did the guy in the car didn't hit Jordan (he may be important for the rest for the story but what ever! Or why didn't he hit Tom? He was't (very) important for the story. Well I don't wanted him to die, I only ask why didn't someone else died in Alice's place

Thing 2
What is a 'sprinter'?
Because at one point a sprinter passes the group and a moment later something happens to him what doesn't makes any sens at all (if he was running)...

For the rest it's a cool story and I'll hope it gets filmed once

1. I think that's considered a spoiler. But, yeah, I wasn't cool with that character's death. The story really slowed down after that. I didn't really care about the other characters to be honest.

2. A sprinter is a runner or jogger, I'm guessin.

a sprinter runs short races, as opposed to a long distance runner. To sprint is to run full out.

Imho, Alice stayed true to who she was ... and that's the best anyone can hope to aspire to, in the end.

In Stephen King books it's often the lovable characters that don't quite make it... It's one of the things I like best because it keeps me alert and surprised. However, I do see you point because I feel cell did not offer enough interesting characters (don't shoot me -it's just an opinion!) and so the story was left like a Big Brother finals to me: I don't care who makes it, so I lost interest of the whole thing.

I agree with Michal to an extent that it keeps you on your toes but isn't it really now different to real life which is sometimes unfair and the unexpected happens? I do sort of see everyones point on characters, Jordan and Tom i thought were slightly vague and paper thin but if Jordan or Tom died would you have been emotionally dragged into the plot or as upset if they died. I seriously cried when i read her slow death.

I think her death was great. It gave me that sense that nobody (exept Clay) is safe.
