I noticed a few misprints in the book. I was reading page 107 that read Sammy had smoked rope. I wonder if the misprints are deliberate or not?

There were some typos in my copy. Dunno if thats one or not, back in the day smoking rope was a euphemism for smoking weed.
I just tried some nylon monofilament rope, and things definitely didn't work out as I'd planned. It wasn't menty at all...

Proofing an average-sized manuscript is hard work, and takes many, many eyes. Proofing a beast the size of DOME? Wow. It's inevitable that a few gaffes and typesetting errors will make it to press...
About the last 1/3rd of the book is pretty riddled with typos and glaring mistakes....the least of which is Barbie's switching from being formerly "Captain" to "Lieutenant".
Most of the other stuff is word order or grammatical mistakes, but it's got the most of any King book I've ever read. I actually just signed up here with the hope of pointing this out to the powers that be.....I hope they see this, or someone like me....
Tell you what, I am the definitive judge on this issue. Tell ya what you do. Get the song "The Sinking of the U.S.S. Titanic by Jamie Brockett. Get yourself 497 1/2 feet of rope, smoke a couple of feet, and listen to a song that blows Arlo Guthrie away. Alice's Restaurant is ok and all, but this is a whole new kinda fun.![]()
Hi... new here. I've been a lurker, but just registered today.
Re: typos... Anyone else notice the switch between Shumway's dog's name from Horace to Hector around page 129 or so? Or did I miss somethin?
Great book btw!

I can't write a 2 paragraph email without mistakes.....C'mon people....lighten up and enjoy the damn book!
Oh I agree! It's just that sometimes... with so many new characters introduced at the beginning of this book, I wondered if maybe "Hector" was somebody/something mentioned in a prior page and i had just missed it!
I'm definitely not criticizing. I am thoroughly enjoying this one.
best,
Mo
