I tried to order the new Stephen King art book from Barnes & Noble today. It turned out it was nearly 300 dollars! whY is this, and does anyone know where I could get it cheaper?

I didn't suspect King of setting the price. It's the companies who always do that, the reason why Grant editions of King's works, for example, are always higher priced than other companies.

Don't know if you find the thing that you wanted, but if you want art maybe this is something for you a calendar "Nightmares & Dreamscapes" or from "The Dark Tower". Every year he create something new and all illustration are created by Darek Kocurek from Polen. And only for a few dollars/euros.
