    Default Loved the movie, but....

I really enjoyed the movie of Rose Red. I was sucked into it from the very start of it, and even though it was a very long movie I never got bored with it. I do however wish that there would have been a novel of Rose Red.

There is. It's called The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer and it's not a SK novel. I had to have Barnes & Noble order it. It's a really good read, I highly recommend it.

Yeah I read that one, but what I meant was a novel Rose Red instead of a movie. Thanks though.

I actually wish that the screenplay would be published like they did for Storm of the Century. Oddly enough, I loved the screenplay but thought the movie could have been better.

I love love love Rose Red and watch my DVD copy of it as often as I can. I didn't like the movie they did of The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer though; it was awful!

Ah well, at least Rose Red is good.

    Cheers,
    Jamieson

Rose Red is one of my favorite movies. I bought it on dvd and have watched it several times. I did not think it was too long at all. In fact, the movie stimulated my imagination and left me with a desire to know more about Rose Red.

You should know that many of the rooms for the movie are not part of the house; they were built on a sound stage. Just don't want you to go there expecting to see it exactly as it was filmed.

I loved the movie Rose Red. I got sucked right into it. I liked the part where SK showed up as the pizza boy.
