Hi rebelbiker, I loved Duma Key, very good story IMO.
I don't understand what you mean by the last part of your post though, would you care to expand so we can try and understand a little clearer. Thanks.![]()
I thought Duma was a great book- as good as some of the early stuff. I think what rebelbiker means, and I agree, is that King often leaves a few loose ends to his stories. I like it becasue it gives the reader a chance to wonder about what might happen to characters down the road.
Xcellent point...that's why I was somewhat dissapointed that SK left out Nick (fr/ The Langoliers) in his last handful of Dark Tower books. Given, they were still good to awesome. It's just that he would have made a perfect guy to bring back (to The Borderlands,etc.).![]()
Started reading it yesterday![]()
I ordered it this week-end from my book club, and I can't wait to read it. I see it's mixed impressions about this book, but I think I might like it a lot for what I have seen so far.![]()
Loved it, Dumas and Lisey are the best of his later works so far.
I got Duma Key in the mail this morning, so as soon as I'm finished with Skeleton Crew, I'll grab my brand new hard cover french version book, and wiil surely enjoy.![]()
I really think SK still has his best work in him, and Dumas kind of proved it, for me at least. One of his coolest, most stylish novels.
