Hello everyone! I've been meaning to join this board for a while and now that i just started my maternity leave have the time too. I'm Ashleigh from Kansas City (originally Maine). I inherited my moms love for SK, and have been reading him for years. I cant wait to jump into the post!

Injury would surely follow, and I understand that many private healthcare providers wouldn't cover you under such circumstances.

Hello Charm7 (didn`t know how to reply cause I suck using this...)

- Also new. Trying to learn to use this (which is not too simple, new to this kind of format). Made this far, so it cannot be too bad. ...

So, I`m from Finland, and though I`ve always loved King`s writings (mostly in the form of a film... Got lots to read, lontsanlots), NOW I got this huge obsession to get The Stand on my hands, as original version. (Just finished his book about writing, and got taken away by the guy - This time very much on a personal level ).

Anyway - I hope to know more of you all, your ideas, thoughts, and wish to be a part of some interesting conversations.

Hello Pickaboo! I started with On Writing also. Keep reading and keep posting! You'll get the hang of it. The Stand is an amazing book. I am looking very forward to reading Under The Dome which was just released today, although some of us are still waiting for our copies to arrive on our doorstep. Welcome aboard! This message board is a real hoot! And if there are any questions you may have, such as "what did she just say?" all you need to do is ask.
