    Default Fort Hood Rampage

I am offering healing thoughts and prayers for those affected by the events of yesterday at Fort Hood.

The number has risen to 30 killed in this tragedy.

May those who were killed rest in peace, Those who were injured- heal, Those who witnessed- find inner peace, and those who read and watched the news- prayer for them all.

Correction. Some accounts give the count of people who lost their lives as thirteen. Twelve soldiers and one civilian police officer. My apologies. It is still so terrible.

    A senseless waste of life.

And these names can be added to the long list of those brave men who have lost their lives as a result of the US military presence in Afghanistan. Every single one a tragedy, and it's far from over yet.

    RIP.

RIP and prayers to the families and friends of the fallen and wounded. This is a horrible tragedy.

But, why aren't you blaming the man who actually pulled the trigger? Let's put the blame where it belongs: squarely on the shoulders of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.

Not to mention the rest of the middle East. Too many losses of brave and courageous men and women.

I have a friend from high school who's son is stationed at Ft. Hood. Thankfully he was off station when the shooting happened. I am so glad for her good fortune that her son is OK and send my sympathies to all those who lost loved ones. I also send prayers to those who were injured.

    ...???????

For Pete's sake, can we agree to not read too much into the actions of a coward and a lunatic? Not everything ties into the vast global Illuminati capitalist conspiracy. Sometimes tragedy is just tragedy.
