    Default For school.

    Dear Mr. King,
My name is Cory. I live in south of New Orleans. Our reading class is doing report about authors. I have always found you quite interesting. And just by looking at your website, you almost get nominated every year for something! I would love to know some things about you, Mr. King. I want to know who, or where you get your ideas from? And what is the craziest fan story you’ve had? Like a fan tried to tackle you or something? Also could you give me an inside scoop on your next book or books?

    Thanksss, Cory!

My suggestion to you, Cory, is to read Stephen King's book "On Writing" for background, and also you might want to check the FAQ portion of this website.

Hey Cory. Welcome to the site. I would suggest that you browse a lot deeper through the SKMB and the Official Site. Most of the answers to your questions are there. Happy hunting.

Hi and welcome to the SKMB. On the main page - Stephenking.com- if you look under LIBRARY- many of the books have a section: inspiration. That will clue you into what inspired him for the book. The section on AUTHOR tells of his life. FAQ- well, that is a wealth of information on many topics, and FUTURE WORKS tells of future endeavors. Good luck and have fun learning all about Stephen King.

Don't forget the MB too. The forums and threads offer insights into the members and their personal discussions of each book and general topics related to SK.
