Was anyone shocked as to the difference in where the Breakers were loacated in the Dark Tower vs where they were described in The Dark Tower? I mean the whole "Tower" itself was described competely different in the two novels.

Let me finish Black House and then I will get back to you. I will surely know the answer to your question, I am already seeing some arguments here that I would like to clear up. But, to be perfectly reasonable, I will wait till I have finished Black House.

Um... the little kids doing manual labor to run the heavy machinery weren't breakers, and the place where they were held captive wasn't The Tower.

Is that what you mean? Or are you talking about something that escaped me when I read those books?

I read this book over a year ago, it was just something I got to thinking about the other day when I saw it at the book store. So, if I am way off base on my recollection of events, forgive me.

I never thought of the "Big Combination" as a diffrent tower but a diffrent version of Devar-Toi.

The train ride for the kids through the waste reminded me somewhat of the land Blaine showed the DT crew on their ride above the waste. I'm wondering if they were traveling in between Thinnies maybe?

I immediatley thought of Blaine and the childrens book illustration when they talked about the kids coming on mono's. The DT connections in this book are great. Cant wait for book 3 of this series.
