This board is going to make my heart explode

I don`t even know how to write this down, as I am sure in my heart that proper words for this do not exist.
But I`ll try anyway, I simply have to.

So, here am I sitting reading all these threads on the Board, all the replys and feel generally happy to read the word of my friends.
My wife and my baby are asleep at the moment, it`s snowing outside, which, despite the cold, always gives you a warm feeling in your soul, maybe even a bit nostalgic..and then, hanging around this board makes the feeling even warmer somehow.

Just about 20 minutes ago my doorbell rings, I answer and someone says : " Canada Post, I have a parcel for you "
" Mmmmmkey, I`ll be right down...", scratching my head and wondering at the same time what kind of parcel this could be, since I didn`t order anything in a while, nor did my wife, as far as I know.
So, the guy gives me this parcel, and immidiately I can feel it`s a book.
I look at the senders adress and it`s from our lovely Mstay..
And I`m like : " What the heck, I don`t expect anything from her..." so I open the thing and in there is Steve`s book " Secret Windows "...a book that I am looking for for the longest time and I could have ordered it from amazon..but it was alwyas kind of pricey for me, so I didn`t.
A few months ago, that book was listed as one of the prizes for the Wicked easy Wedneday drawing in the SK Trivia group ( courtesy of our CJ(mylife4usk)), but before it was finally my turn to win and choose something from that list, someone else got it.
I mentioned a couple of times in the group that I was " bummed out ", jokingly, about not getting the book...and obviously, someone, as big and kindhearted as Mstay is, remembered that..and sent me the book as a birthday present, which is on Oct 30st.
I can`t describe the shock, a beautiful one, but nevertheless a shock, that someone thinks about you and would do that for you.

Priror to that, I won in that same social group a few weeks back, and our
wonderful Patricia A sent me, as a prize, The Green Mile serials in German...wonderful books, with a beautiful design, made in Germany. A real rarirety.

And on top of that, our magnifiecent friend Belladonna has preordered for me the signed, limted edition of Under The Dome..
I couldn`t do it, since it was US sales only and I`m in Canada, so she offered to make my life unbelievably happy...

I know that these wonderful friends don`t want public "thank you`s", that those are unbelievable acts of kindness straight out from their heart and they would and do say " my pleasure and don`t worry about it "...but I have to thank them this way.
On the Board, here where all those beautiful friendships started.
I can only hope they want get mad at me for wirting this, but this is the only way ( for now ) to give back a fracture of their kindness, to share it with all my friends here...

For everything else that`s happening on the board here between you and I, my friends,( " old hands " and " newbies" )for you listening, being there, being a shoulder to cry on, for all the jokes, for all the wisdom, for all the Visitor Messages, if nothing but just to wish me a wonderful day, for all your friendship...and I don`t have words, once again.

I can only say Thank You and I Love You, may God, Ka or whoever or whatvever look after you and your loved ones for as long as you are here on this wonderful stage called life...

And of course, also a big, big Thank You to my dear friend Ubasti, who has also made my life a lot happier by sending me " The Colorado Kid ", which I also could never find in Canada.
I will never forget that.

I feel you 100% Srbo.

Somebody here got wind that I didn't have any signed works my SK, and decided to remedy that by sending me a signed HC Insomnia. This same person also heard about me wanting to read Rage really bad and they found and got me a 1st book club edition of The Bachman Books. Among a couple of other really cool things from Tolkien. This person I won't name since I don't know if they would want me to or not, but they know who they are and by far one of the coolest most awesome best friends I've met here or any other online place.

It's so freaking amazing that people are so caring about others that they would do these sort of things.

Awwws. I think i'm gonna start crying. I am so proud of my SKT'ers! And without this board and the social groups(please don't ever think of getting rid of them Ms. Mod, not that I think the powers that be might, i'm just saying!)

Srbo once again, such a lovely thread...you always know exactly what to say to make the girls go: Ahhhh.
This is indeed an amazing board and the people here are fabulous.
On my travels next year I'm definitely meeting with a few members, especially the hippie chicks--aka Witches of Eastwick--and I can't wait.
I'm sure y'all will get to see the pictures, so long as they don't corrupt me too much!
