New to the boards and not sure if I missed this on another thread, but has anyone been reading the comics Dark Tower or any of the others?

Yes, I have read the the first in the Dark Tower Series.. and I've got the second Installment waiting for me.
Also got the first installment of The Stand.

And when I get to London, hence Forbidden Planet I'll buy the first Talisman too. I like King's work, in any format available.

Yet another new comic series has been announced called American Vampire which will be put out by Vertigo in 2010. It's being written by Steve and Scott Snyder. Steve's section takes place in the 1880s and is about a bank robbing, murdering cowboy named Skinner Sweet and Snyder's is about a 1920s flapper named (Pearl - edit)

Gosh, flapper or blood-drinking cowboy... which would I rather read about?

    Score one for Mr. King.

I have got to take a look at all of King's comic book work to see if I can read some of them to my girl's. They love scary spooky stuff ( hmm, wonder where they get it?) and these are illustrated, they will love that. Tonight's story for them is going to be "The Monkey" from Skeleton Crew... with some re-wording it can be a perfect story for them. It reminds me of the Monkey's Paw which I loved as a kid.
